The Ontological Argument, Pantheism and Antitheism
I was watching this week a series of very interesting documentaries published by BBC and entitled “The Atheism Tapes”. These interviews (in fact) were remainders of an older documentary movie about the history of atheism, but they were considered so interesting (and rightfully so) that they were published separately.
Now, as a side observation, the thing which I didn’t like about them is that the six personalities interviewed all came from christian or jewish backgrounds, therefore their arguments were targeted agains the christian image of God and those that tried to touch other religions, did so in a grossly uneducated manner (one of them said something that the hates all the violence that stems from religion and that a religion who specifically demands violence -reference to islam- is malicious by definition, completely ignoring the fact that the Qu’ran specifically forbids any kind of killing while all the “death to infidels” related stuf stems from a few deranged individuals).
